I’m an enthusiast of great food, time with my family and good coffee – not necessarily in that order - the simple but best things in life!
You’ll often find me gazing out my window, coffee in hand, working on a clients website design, or putting together my latest tips to help creative entrepreneurs successfully launch their online store.

After building two successful online businesses, creating and selling personalised gifts, the next step was a no-brainer. My purpose and mission is to help other Creatives take the hassle out of building an online store without the stress and headaches.

You’ve got an amazing product and you’re ready to turn this hobby into a real, big girl pants on, money making kinda business. You’re amazing at what you do but this techy stuff is not your jam. Don’t worry… I am here to help.

In 2013, due to unforseen circumstances I found myself jobless. I also found it hard to find a job that was flexible around my 6 month old son. My hubby worked interstate and with my immediate family living in another country, I had little support close by.

Determined to find a solution, I went out on a limb and created Tutū Kiwi. The words Tutū Kiwi meaning, curious, mischief, rebel, creative kiwi/NZer.

Tutū Kiwi was dedicated to designing and printing personalised kiwiana gifts (like my BESTSELLER onesies pictured). I taught myself how to design and print clothing, home decor and printables. I was able to fit my work in around my son. The sales were coming in, my confidence was beaming, my family were amazed.

In 2015, I listed some of my personalised gifts like my coffee mugs on Etsy to experiment if some of my designs would sell on the global stage.
Well, who would have thought they would have been a hit. Inundated with orders and the pressure of trying to maintain some balance after the birth of my second child, I decided to put Tutū Kiwi on hold and concentrate on my new business Through the Milky Way.

I learned the possibilities of reaching an International audience was definitely achievable. I had customers in the USA, France, Germany, UK and Canada. Not to forget my local orders too, I seemed to have found my groove.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't smooth sailing all the way. There were the highs and lows of not knowing everything about selling online and the demands of Customers wanting their items like yesterday. I eventually solved the problems I faced via online research so I could keep moving forward and vowed not to make the same mistakes again.

During one of my brainstorming sessions, gazing out my window, coffee in hand. I pondered how I could have saved time if I had of known someone who could have shown me 'the steps' to build and launch my own online store. Like what to do and what not to do from the get-go. There would have been less stress and more sleep for sure. I would have arrived at my desired destination a lot quicker. However, I understand now those lessons have certainly made me wiser.

BUT I then thought what if I could do more, help more, be more. Because I truly believe in the importance of helping others. Then I had the epiphany to help other Creatives take the hassle out of building an online store.
Tutū Kiwi was reborn and this space has now been dedicated to Creatives just like you.
